Wooden Engineered Flooring
Solid wood flooring is made of planks milled from a single piece of timber. The wear surface is thicker and thus the floor can be sanded and finished more times than an engineered wood floor. Engineered wood flooring on the other hand is manufactured by combining multiple layers of timber with a solid wood veneer. It is designed in such a way to allow for wood expansion, making it compatible with underfloor heating systems and giving it a high moisture tolerance level. The floors are either packed unfinished for a site-finished installation or finished at the factory. This highly durable and strong floor is considered a luxury and will last you years to come.

Oak is one of the most popular species for wooden flooring because it is very hard and heavy with prominent rings and large pores that allow it to stain well.
